Our neighborhood, Petit-Saconnex, is close to the United Nation and a large number of international institutions. The Balexert shopping mall and the Budée farmer’s market are just a few minutes’ walk from our house.

Lake Side

Lake cruises on CGN steamboats. From 1 hour to 1 day, dance cruises, gourmet cruises, there is a wide range of options! The Pâquis baths and their unmissable terrace by the water’s edge, where you can enjoy fondues and salads. Geneva Beach, with its swimming pools and water sports center.

Park Side

Geneva offers numerous parks, such as the Château de Penthes, the Botanical Garden, the English Garden, the Pearl of the Lake, and the Parc de la Grange, to name but a few.

Nature Side

Pointe-à-la-Bise Nature Reserve (nesting water birds). Descent of the Rhône in a “Mouette” from Pont Sous-Terre to the Verbois Dam. Walk along the Rhône starting from the Verbois Dam, Moulin-de-Vert Reserve (left bank), Steppes de Verbois (right bank). Excursion to Salève by cable car: numerous hiking trails at the summit and panoramic views of Geneva.

Fruit and vegetables: Carouge Market every Wednesday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Place du Marché, with a carillon concert every Saturday morning.
